Beginning in July 2018, the UC Davis Health Department of Emergency Medicine offers a combined medical education and simulation fellowship. The fellowship is intended to provide learners with a solid foundation in healthcare simulation, medical education scholarship, curriculum design, excellence and innovation in teaching, and membership in the greater community of medical educators. We offer two fellowship positions each year to graduates of Emergency Medicine residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). One- and two-year fellowship tracks are available, with the opportunity to obtain masters-level research training through the UC Davis Mentored Clinical Research Training Program (MCRTP) in the two-year track. Interested applicants should send a current curriculum vitae, a letter of intent, and three letters of recommendation (including one from the applicant’s residency Program Director if still in training) to our fellowship program directors.
