School of Medicine Cost of Attendance
The tuition, fees, and charges posted here are estimated based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final; actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California or, as authorized, by the President of the University of California. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student's final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown.
Some or all instruction for all or part of Academic Year 2020-2021 may be delivered remotely. Tuition and mandatory fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year.

UC Regents mandate that all students have health insurance. This is a non-academic condition of admission to the School of Medicine M.D. program. The School of Medicine offers Western Health Advantage insurance to meet this requirement. If you have comparable insurance, you may waive out of the Western Health Advantage plan. Insurance plans and rates are subject to change.
