Responsible for all administrative oversight in the following areas: administration, strategic planning, fiscal affairs, computer support, philanthropy, personnel, accounting, purchasing, auditing, business contracts, business development, programmatic growth, training of residents and fellows; education of medical students, facilities management, research administration, medical staff affairs, and liaison to other UC Davis SOM and UCDHS departments.
Kelly Due, Administrative Officer II, Executive Assistant to the Chair
Provides executive-level administrative support to the Chair. Manages all Chair communications, scheduling, meetings, and special projects.
Anna G. Schmidt, Residency Program Coordinator
Coordinates Residency and Fellowship Program activities, updates Facebook website, assists with coordination of department special events and conferences.
Shawn Jackson, Administrative Supervisor
Manages marketing, communications and public relations, including special events; provides functional oversight of educational programs and manages day-to-day administrative operations and supervises clinical administrative staff.
Mayra Hernandez, Fellowship and Medical Student Course Coordinator
Serves as observer and medical student course coordinator; coordinates medical student elective course registration and develops rotation schedules; contact for grading and all Pathology undergraduate and graduate student course numbers; responsible for coordinating monthly Advisory Committee for Education (ACE) meeting and coordinator for Pathology Student Interest Group (PATH SIG); coordinates Fellowship Program activities; back-up to residency coordinator.
Alexandria Anderson, CP Faculty Assistant
Primary faculty assistant to CP clinical faculty for all administrative needs, including meeting scheduling, conference room and AV equipment reservations; maintains calendars; drafts correspondence; prepares divisional faculty meeting agendas and official minutes; coordinator of Pathology Grand Rounds CME course; assists with faculty recruitment and department events; back-up to Executive Assistant to the Chair; responsible for CP faculty service schedules on QGenda and the UCD Health online, on-call system. Tracks and prepares faculty time away requests; updates personnel directories.
Tishia Xiong, AP Faculty Assistant
Primary faculty assistant to AP clinical faculty for all administrative needs, including meeting scheduling, conference room and AV equipment reservations; maintains calendars; drafts correspondence; prepares divisional faculty meeting agendas and official minutes; assists with faculty recruitment and department events; back-up to Executive Assistant to the Chair; responsible for AP faculty service schedules on QGenda and the UCD Health online, on-call system; department website editor. Collects and submits quarterly physician time study reports.
