Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is to give every patient an exceptional care experience at a level that I would provide for my own family. I enjoy listening to my patients' personal lives and view each one as an individual with unique concerns and needs. My goal is to always provide the highest level of compassionate and skillful care for my patients.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Rogers is board certified in interventional cardiology and vascular medicine, and is an integral member of the cardiovascular clinical and research program. He serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiology and is the Program Director for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
Dr. Rogers has been widely published and has served as invited faculty at national and international meetings. His current clinical focus is the treatment of adult structural heart disease using minimally invasive transcatheter methods, such as MitraClip therapy for mitral regurgitation and transcatheter left atrial appendage occlusion.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Rogers serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Medicine Clinical Research Unit. Research is directed at the treatment if adult structural heart disease with an emphasis on the management of valvular heart disease using emerging minimally invasive and percutaneous procedures.
