Philosophy of Care
I am grateful for and humbled by the opportunities I have to make a positive difference in the lives of others as a neurologist. I believe that kindness, empathy, and respect are the foundations of patient-centered care. I strive to combine these qualities with cutting-edge clinical knowledge so that we can work together to create a thoughtful and individualized care plan.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Keenan is a fellowship-trained vascular neurologist offering specialty care to adults with stroke and cerebrovascular disease.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Keenan's research focuses on developing and testing tools used during neurological emergencies to identify which patients are having a severe type of stroke called large vessel occlusion stroke. Treatment of this disease is time sensitive and earlier identification could enable more patients to receive emergency treatments that can greatly improve their chances of recovery.
