Finding information online can be overwhelming and confusing. We’re here to help guide you and provide you with some reputable resources on important health topics. When reading information online, here are some simple tips to ensure you are getting accurate advice. 

  • Ask yourself if the information is based on scientific evidence or if this is someone’s opinion 
  • Look at the type of organization or group that is providing the information (profit vs. non-profit) 
  • See who is writing the information; what is their background and education 
  • Aim to use websites that end in orgedu, and gov
