    Blood Pressure Classes and Resources

High blood pressure, also known as Hypertension, affects about 80 million people in the United States.  It can lead to complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney failure. It is unknown exactly what causes high blood pressure. It cannot be cured, but it can be controlled. We offer a variety of classes and programs to help you get better control of your blood pressure.

Better Blood Pressure Basics is a two-part class that reviews goals, risk factors, consequences of high blood pressure, medications, nutrition, physical activity and resources to manage your blood pressure

Better Blood Pressure “On the Go” addresses self-management skills and offers support from a pharmacist and health educator. Participants have an initial blood pressure reading and receive training in monitoring their own blood pressure.


Better Blood Pressure 12 weeks addresses self-management skills and offers in-person and telephonic support from a pharmacist and health educator. Participants have weekly blood pressure readings and receive training in monitoring their own blood pressure.
