UC Davis nursing school honored for excellence in diversity

Article announces the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis received the 2021 Health Professions Higher Education in Diversity (HEED) Award. The school is one of only 50 health professions colleges and universities in the nation honored for its outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Associate Professor and pediatrician Jann Murray-García is featured in this article about Black physicians calling on the community to get vaccinated. Murray-García is quoted for her role in a virtual panel discussion about the risk of COVID-19 for pregnant Black women. The discussion was hosted by the Northern California Section of The National Council for Negro Women and its Good Health Wins campaign.
